How to request deletion of your data

You can ask Make My Freshener to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. This applies to information you gave us directly and to information we received through Facebook Login or other Meta services.

If you connected to Make My Freshener with Facebook, you can also remove the Make My Freshener app in your Facebook account settings under Apps and Websites and choose to delete the data it received. Meta will then notify us of your request, and we will delete the data we hold.

When we receive a request, we verify it, search our systems, and delete matching personal information, subject to the exceptions described below.

How to submit a request

Email privacy@makemyfreshener.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Include the name and email address on your Make My Freshener account, or tell us that you used Facebook Login.

What we delete and what we may keep

We delete or anonymize the personal information tied to your account or Facebook ID. We may keep certain records where the law requires it, such as order and tax records (kept for 7 years), and we may keep anonymized data that no longer identifies you.

How long it takes

We respond to deletion requests within 30 days (up to 45 days for complex requests).
